For reasons that only the State of Michigan understands, I’m currently trying to blitz through 14 hours of online continuing education to maintain my appraisers license.
Right now, it 7 hours
residential construction methods. It’s informative, but ultimately very boring. Next up is 7 hours
of appraising bank owned/REO properties. Thrill a minute people, a thrill a minute.

I had to do an online 30 hour OSHA class. It was terrible all the slides were timed and the thing would time out within 2 minutes if you didn’t respond after a slide. They got their 30 hours out of me.

Hey the important thing isn’t whether or not you learned anything, it’s how much of your life they successfully s ucked away.

My dad was a licensed appraiser in Ohio, as well as a reasonably successful realtor for 20 years. He also worked with homebuilders for a number of years. That, combined with me working peripherally in the building industry, has me saying:

I can only imagine the boredom, but I can’t imagine it for long because it puts me to slee... zzzzzzzz
